This exceptional “Stag & Dog” Gone With the Wind lamp was produced by the Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, during the circa 1895–1905 period and represents one of Consolidated’s most visually expressive and seldom-encountered scenic designs.

Executed in painted opal glass, the lamp features a finely rendered deer and dog scenic motif, evoking the romantic naturalism popular in late Victorian decorative arts. The softly luminous opal ground provides an elegant backdrop for the scenic decoration, which is framed by Consolidated’s refined molded glass panels. The result is a lamp with strong sculptural presence and exceptional decorative depth.

This example retains its original “P&A” high-grade center draft burner with lift-out font, an important indicator of authenticity and correct period construction. The lamp’s proportions are harmonious and well balanced, allowing it to present beautifully whether displayed illuminated or at rest.
