Consolidated "Cherub" or "Baby Face" Chamber Lamp in Blue Satin Glass - Very Rare
Blue Satin Glass | Circa 1895–1905
This classic “Cherub” Gone With the Wind lamp was produced by the Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, during the circa 1895–1905 period and represents one of Consolidated’s more figural and decorative art glass designs.
This example is executed in blue satin glass, a significantly rarer colorway than red and one seldom encountered in original, correctly matched form. The cool blue tone combined with the satin surface enhances the dimensionality of the cherub faces, giving the lamp a refined and striking visual presence sought by advanced collectors.
This example retains its original high-grade center draft burner with lift-out font, an important indicator of originality and correct period construction. The lamp’s proportions are well balanced and visually engaging, making it an excellent display piece for formal parlors, libraries, or curated antique lighting collections.

These can include small air bubbles, light manufacturing irregularities, or minor fitter chips consistent with age and original production methods. Such characteristics are typical of period glass and do not detract from the overall integrity or authenticity of the piece.
